Location: the hotel was right by nice restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood as well as both southern Normandy and northern Britanny. The room was well-appointed on the main level, the bed was very comfy...

We were in France for 12 days and stayed at Chateau De Bouceel for 2 days. It was our favorite stay. The chateau and property are beautiful, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The owner, Count Regis, is a wonderful host who personally greets everyone and provides excellent recommendations. Breakfast in the main dining room, with Count Regis sharing the history of the property, was a real treat. The owner's daughter-in-law is a fabulous cook, and the dinner at the hotel was delicious. We also enjoyed a nice swim in the pool after a long day of exploring. Everything about this property was perfect!

    We would recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing and romantic escape at this beautiful chateau. The historic ambiance of the place was simply enchanting. The well-preserved rooms with their stunning decor and comfortable beds made us feel like royalty. the host was incredibly welcoming and provided us with personalized recommendations for local attractions and dining options. We also loved the quiet and peaceful countryside location, which allowed us to relax and unwind.

While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that the absence of a television in the room was a bit disappointing. Although it wasn't a major issue for us as we were busy exploring the charm of the chateau, some guests may prefer having the option to unwind with a TV show or movie.

The historic chateau was clean and well-maintained, with charming hotel facilities including a pool and gorgeous dining room overlooking the garden. Parking was easily accessible and this location in a beautiful old building added to the overall experience. The staff was helpful in providing recommendations on valuable places to see, and we highly recommend having dinner at the farm adjacent to the hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The Chateau de Bouceel is a hidden gem! The owner is warm and knowledgeable, making the stay enjoyable. The location is perfect, and the services are excellent. The meals, especially the dinner prepared by the owner's daughter-in-law, are delicious. The breakfast and conversations with other guests are fantastic. The owner even made a bouquet of flowers for us to place at the American cemetery. This experience was the highlight of our trip to France!

Felt amazing, no complaints at all!

We had a delightful stay at this charming Chateau near Mont Saint Michel. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The homemade breakfast was a lovely start to the day. The owner, Regis, shared fascinating stories about the Chateau's history. a memorable experience that I highly recommend.

We had a great time staying in a castle during our city trip. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, clean and well-maintained gardens, and the beautiful pond. The breakfast was served in a big dining room with huge croissants that we enjoyed. The hotel's location, far from the crowded tourist areas, provided a peaceful and relaxing stay. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and shared many interesting stories about the history of the place, making us feel at home. it was a unique and memorable experience.

As it was our first time staying in a chateau, we were not prepared for the antique atmosphere that came with it. Although the hotel was clean and well-maintained, we found it difficult to connect with the personal history and belongings of the place, which made it less enjoyable for us.

We recently stayed at a French chateau in a remote location. The scenery was stunning—from a delightful pond with swans to old trees. Our room was beautifully decorated with period furnishings, and our bathroom was tastefully appointed. The hosts at the chateau were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was served family-style and featured homemade jams and confections. They had an “honesty bar” in the entrance hall that was filled with wine and snacks.

Spent Xmas at a charming historic chateau in Normandy countryside. The huge and clean room was comfortable and cozy, decorated with beautiful paintings. Breakfast was delicious with big and flaky croissants. The knowledgeable hosts offered local tips and recommendations, making our stay unforgettable. The location was perfect, only 15-minutes away from Mont St Micheal and several amazing restaurants.

Nothing negative to report. The hotel had no onsite restaurant, but there were incredible dining options nearby.

I recently stayed at Chateau De Bouceel for a weekend getaway. The charming chateau is located in the beautiful French countryside and offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The antique furniture and period decorations added a touch of elegance to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The proprietor, Monsieur Roquefeuill, was a gracious and helpful host who shared fascinating stories about the chateau's history and his father's involvement in the French resistance during WWII. The sumptuous dining room and other public areas were impeccably maintained, and the breakfast served with a garden view was simply delightful. my stay was a truly magical and unforgettable experience.

    I do recommend this hotel.
